Celerity has bolstered its Service Desk Team with the addition of Sheridan Edwards as Service Desk Analyst.
Sheridan joins us having recently finished a Masters in Computer Science where she gained a Distinction from Newcastle University and also worked as a Research Supervisor within Northumbria University where some of her work will be published shortly. Aside from her work and studies, the Darlington native also enjoys playing video games, walking her dogs and going to the gym.
We get to know Sheridan even more with some carefully crafted questions designed to extract the most important information out of our new starters...
1. Describe your career to date in one sentence.
A whirlwind of mixed experiences, including foster care support work, hospitality, research for Northumbria University and now entering the world of IT.2. What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Usually 4 dogs asking to go outside.3. What are you hoping to bring to Celerity in your new role as Service Desk Analyst?
I hope to bring even more positivity and energy to the role, allowing the work to be as personally and professionally fulfilling as possible.4. What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
Producing research at a standard worthy of publishing (hopefully out in the next 6 months!)5. What three words would you use to describe your role?

Up until too late into my teens…I wasn’t completely aware Wales was attached to England – I.e. I thought it was a boat trip away…8. Given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?
