Celerity is delighted to announce that Naraindra Maharaj has joined us as an in-house Legal Consultant.
Naraindra is a qualified Barrister, having been called to the Bar in 2000 and is a Member of The Honorary Society of The Middle Temple, one of the four ancient Inns of Court. He completed an LLB (Hons) at Holborn College followed by a Masters in Law (Merit) from King’s College, London.
Naraindra previously worked for IBM UK as a Contracts and Negotiations Manager (C&N) and was C&N Manager for IBM Global Financing working extensively in the IBM Business Partner Organisation, which was part of his portfolio. His most recent appointment was as Legal Counsel with Datatec Financial Services. He has had an interesting and varied career having previously worked in the Caribbean as a financial controller and was a tax and internal auditor with the Ontario, Canadian Government.
Naraindra will be working for Celerity with particular focus on customer facing contracts with Celerity’s continued move into providing services to customers and also advising the sales team in negotiations with customers and vendors. Craig Aston, Commercial Director of Celerity commented, “it is great to have Naraindra on board, his experience and commercial approach to legal issues alongside his expertise in areas such as competition law will make him an invaluable addition to the Celerity team”.
In his spare time Naraindra enjoys playing tennis, listening to jazz music and gardening.
