“I began my career in the IT industry as a technician in the early 1990s working at the AA (the one that fixes cars not your drinking habits…!), and quickly moved into Service Delivery Management”, commented Peter, “with my main areas of expertise being in management of Incident, Problem, Service Level, Configuration, Supplier, Financial, Risk, Service Desk and Continual Service Improvement”.
Peter’s previous experience includes working for British Gas and T-Systems, a global IT managed service provider, with responsibility for large customer accounts such as EE, Airbus, MW and BP, mainly around delivery and operation of Business As Usual services, together with project delivery.
“Peter is a certified ITILv3 Expert and a Prince 2 Practitioner. His vast experience in IT Service Management will support Celerity in adopting a best practice, common sense approach to service management that will add real value to the business and our customers”, added Craig Aston, Celerity’s Commercial Director.
Peter has two children and spends weekends either watching his daughter play football in a grass-roots football league or watching his beloved Newcastle United play at home. He also enjoys cycling and professes to have cycled over 4,000 miles this year, averaging 100 miles per week.
